How to Claim Your Socks
Step 1: Production
Socks will only go into production once verification is complete.
Step 2: Your CodeOnce production is finished, qualifying participants will receive a unique code via email.
Step 3: Checkout
Use your code to check out the socks for free on the OP Athlete website (opathlete.co.za).
Step 4: Delivery
Socks will ONLY be shipped to a valid South African delivery address.

What is Sweat Debt 2026?
Sweat Debt 2026 is a free running and walking challenge hosted by OP Athlete Supply, in collaboration with KiloEaters and Gilnokie.
Participants have a set period to complete a distance challenge and log their activity on Strava.
Who can take part?
Anyone can participate, worldwide.
- You must be 18 years or older, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
- Participation is free.
- Participants outside South Africa are welcome to join but will not be eligible for physical rewards (socks or spot prizes).
What distances do I need to complete?
You choose one option:
- 🏃♂️ Runners: 70 km
- 🚶♀️ Walkers: 45 km
You can complete your kilometres on road, trail, or treadmill.
How do I log my kilometres?
All kilometres must be:
Tracked and recorded on Strava
- Logged during the official campaign period
- Set to Public (“Everyone”) visibility
Only your own recorded activities count.
Do I need to join anything on Strava?
Yes. To qualify, you must:
1. Join the Kiloeaters Run Club
2. Tag the Kiloeaters and mention "Sweat Debt" in the description. Note: We can only see your run if your profile is public.
Why isn’t my run showing on the leaderboard?
Check the following:
- Did you join the Strava club?
- Is your activity set to Public?
- Is the activity type correct (Run or Walk)?
Do I need to use hashtags?
- #OPAthlete
- #SweatDebt
Do I need to join the WhatsApp group?
Yes. You must join the official KiloEaters WhatsApp group to receive:
- Important campaign updates
- Reward notifications
- Admin communication
If you’re not in the group, you may miss key information.
What do I get if I finish Sweat Debt 2026?
Participants who successfully complete the event and meet all qualification requirements will receive:
One FREE pair of limited-edition KiloEater x OP Athlete x Sweat Debt Gilnokie socks.
Additional spot prizes and shoe giveaways may be awarded but are not guaranteed.
Only one reward per person is permitted.
How and when will I receive my socks?
Socks will only go into production after Strava data has been verified and successful completion confirmed.
Once production is complete:
- Qualifying participants will receive a unique email code
- The code can be used to check out the socks for free on the OP Athlete website
- Socks will be shipped to a valid South African delivery address
Rewards are limited and available while stocks last.
Can I transfer or sell my reward?
No. Rewards are:
- Non-transferable
- Not exchangeable
- Not redeemable for cash
What happens if I cheat or manipulate data?
Participants may be disqualified if they:
- Submit false or manipulated activity data
- Use multiple accounts
- Act dishonestly or against the spirit of the challenge
All decisions by OP Athlete are final.
What personal data do you collect?
We collect limited data required to run the campaign, including:
- Name and contact details
- Strava activity data (for verification)
- WhatsApp group participation
- Shipping details
